[NEWS] Why is “Don’t Go Home” causing GD&TOP so much grief?

GD&TOP’s newest addition to their promotion cycle, “Don’t Go Home,” managed to bring out a softer and more romantic image in lieu of the duo’s ‘hardcore’ one, but the song itself is ruffling some feathers in the music industry.

 

After MBC banned the song twice for being too ’suggestive,’ their music video release was also postponed to a later time despite passing reviews from KBS and SBS.

 

The music video had originally been scheduled for a February 1st release.

 


Representatives from YG Entertainment revealed that they failed to understand MBC’s decision, as they firmly believed that the song didn’t contain any suggestive material whatsoever.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon, T.O.P, and Seungri revealed their ideal women to be as unique as their own fashion tastes while guesting on SBS’s “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time.”

 

Seungri revealed his to be a woman “that has a lot of aegyo and a bright voice” since he wants to call her often, while T.O.P revealed, “I’d like a woman that knows how to dress herself. Not only her physical appearance, but her manner of speech as well. Someone that’s respectful to adults. Ah, I hate women that swear!”

 

G-Dragon stated, “Someone that can cook well. I don’t know how to cook anything, so I want her to be able to teach me in areas I’m not familiar with.”

Big Bang brought a storm to SBS Radio with a BANG!

 
On January 31st, GD&TOP along with Seungri appeared on SBS ‘Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time.’ The episode recorded a record audience of 60,000 members streaming the broadcast LIVE. This is the same number of viewers for SBS drama ‘Secret Garden.’

 

On ‘Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time,’ GD&TOP along with Seungri honestly and sincerely answered questions from fans. Big Bang’s first unit GD&TOP are currently promoting ‘Don’t go home’ following ‘High High.’ While Seungri has begun solo activities with ‘What do you want me to do?’

Aired last January 29 on KBSTV2 “Entertainment Tonight,” Sandara Park revealed that, “When I think about “Oh, this man would make a romantic boyfriend,” the man that comes to mind is G-Dragon.”
