[NEWS] Japan is Ready for BIGBANG

BIGBANG‘s comeback and world tour, “2012 BIGBANG Alive Tour,” is also being watched by Japanese media. In a March 5 article from the Japanese paper Sankei Sports, the writer talks about BIGBANG’s popularity not only in Korea but throughout the world. As you may remember, BIGBANG won the “World Wide Act” award at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards. And while BIGBANG faced a number of obstacles in 2011, leader G-Dragon said that regarding this tour, “Until now, we focused on making things fun for the fans. This time, we are trying to create a musical show.”

The writer continued by stating that by having Laurieann Gibson on as the main director, BIGBANG has created a strong team and a world tour on a scale never before done by an Asian artist. About 39,000 people attended the Seoul performances which took place between March 2 and 4. BIGBANG will head to Japan in May/June to hold their tour in five cities there, with two performances per city. [NEWS] 2NE1’s Sandara Park, making a ‘V’ sign at Big Bang’s concert

Recently, 2NE1’s Sandara Park updated a proof shot of her being at Big Bang’s concert.

On March 5, Park posted a picture on Me2day with the comment “I was at the Big Show last night! A proof shot here! The show surely lived up to my high expectation! Big Bang zzang! Enough said about the show ~”

In the picture, Park is posing in front of a huge poster of Big Bang which is posted at the concert hall.

Netizens who saw the posting comment: “I really wanted go, but I couldn’t.” “I’m totally in love with Dara unnie~” “I envy you!”

Big Bang’s 2012 Big Show concert was held at the Olympics Gymnastic Arena in Seoul from March 2 to 4.

[NEWS] Japanese media covers its headlines with Big Bang’s world tour!

Recently, Japanese media has turned their attention toward Big Bang, covering their headlines with the group’s comeback.

On March 5, some of the major newspaper agencies of Japan including, Daily Sports, Sports Hochi, Nikan Sports, Sankei Sports, Sports Nippon, and Tokyo Junichi Sports made a big deal out of 2012 Big Show/ Big Bang Alive Tour which was held at Gymnastics Arena in Seoul from March 2 to 4 and reported related articles in their recent paper.

Especially, Daily Sports, Sankei Sports, and Tokyo Junichi Sports put some special meaning to the group’s world tour in their headlines which read “Magnificent Big Bang, heading toward the world,” “Big Bang fascinates the world,” and “Big Bang, starting off the biggest world tour in history! Jackpot!”

The world tour has already earned positive comments for its upgraded concert program as the world-renowned performance agency, Live Nation, and Laurieann Gibson are in charge of overall directing. The concert is to continue in Japan soon.

Japanese media also showed its expectations over ten upcoming concerts in five different cities in Japan, reporting detailed news about the concert.

This popular male group has officially begun activities of its fifth mini-album and is now off to the world tour which will be continued in 25 different cities of 16 countries.
