Big Bang recently held a concert in Thailand successfully.
On October 7, YG Entertainment, Big Bang’s agency, reported, “Big Bang successfully held a concert in Thailand, part of their world tour, Alive Galaxy Tour 2012.”
According to YG Entertainment, Big Bang attracted a total audience of 20,000 to their concert held on October 5 and 6 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok. It was their first concert to be held in Thailand in four years.
Starting with “Still Alive,” Big Bang performed such hit songs as “Lies,” “Day By Day,” “Heaven,” and “Fantastic Baby,” and the members’ solo songs.
When Big Bang performed “Day By Day,” the audience touched the members by lifting up placards that read, “Still ♡ Big Bang.” Some popular Thai actresses and singers also came to the concert.
The agency says, “When Big Bang arrived in Thailand on October 4, a lot of fans welcomed them at Suvarnabhumi International Airport. When they arrived at the airport on October 6 to go back to Korea, many fans again came to the airport to see them off. Big Bang’s concert attracted so much attention that there was even high-priced ticket touting.”
Big Bang will visit Indonesia, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Malaysia, Los Angeles, New Jersey, and Peru next month and Hong Kong and Japan in December.

As expected, tickets for Big Bang’s upcoming US concerts completely sold out within two hours.
On September 22 (US Time), ticketing for Big Bang’s Still Alive Galaxy Tour 2012 opened up in California and New Jersey.
A grand total of 24,000 tickets were sold, with New Jersey’s Prudential Center and Los Angeles’ Honda Center each seating up to 12,000 people at once. The Los Angeles concert will be held on November 3, and New Jersey on November 9.
With so many who weren’t able to get their hands on tickets, fans are petitioning to have Big Bang hold additional performances during its stay in the US in November.
Not only that, Big Bang sold out 30,000 seats for its concerts at the Hong Kong Asia Expo on December 8 and 9
On the demand for tickets, YG Entertainment stated, “With an unexpected amount of response in the US and Hong Kong, we are discussing additional concerts at the moment.”
Big Bang officially kicked off its world tour in Seoul in March and will continue until December.
