[NEWS] ‘WE’ member Macho trained G-Dragon & Taeyang in the past

Macho from the new co-ed group ‘WE‘ is catching the attention of his fans, as he was revealed to be a talented dancer, rapper, composer, and lyricist.
Macho previously worked as a dancer for artists such as Se7en, Kim Bum Soo, and Wheesung. It was also revealed that he has previously trained Wheesung, Se7en, as well as Big Bang‘s G-Dragon and Taeyang on how to be a ‘hip hop’ icon.
He has been on stage as a dancer as well as a musical star, and now he performs as a singer, and has even participated in writing and composing many of the songs on We’s new album.
Macho has proven himself enough to the point where he will most likely be producing his label’s new idol group, scheduled to debut sometime next year.
His agency remarked, “Macho devotes himself entirely to every new project he begins , and as of right now he is focusing on writing and composing new songs. We hope that you will support his songs that will be released in the future.”
‘We’ is actively promoting their first digital single, “The Rain“.

[NEWS] Bigbang ranked 2nd in “Pepero Day” Netizen Survey

2AM and SNSD were chosen as the idol groups fans would like to give Pepero to on Pepero day. Voting took place from 2-9 November.
1590 netizens voted under the category ‘male idol group you would like to give Pepero to on Pepero day’. 2AM easily came first with 515 votes (32.4%). Unlike other male groups, this year 2AM focused on each member’s individual activities. Even though they did not have many performances, they managed to come first in the voting.
Trailing behind is second place Big Bang with 196 votes (12.3%). Coming in third is 2PM with 170 votes (10.7%). Fourth and fifth place, Shinee with 160 votes (10.1%) and JYJ 146 votes (9.2%) respectively.

For female group category, 1712 netizens voted in total. First place went to SNSD with 967 votes (56.5%). Most netizens expressed that after listening to ‘The Boys’ from SNSD’s third album, they would like to give Pepero to the girls.
Following in second place is 2NE1 with 163 votes (9.5%). Other places include KARA 143 votes (7.8%S), miss A 142 votes (7.2%) and Wonder Girls 98 votes (5.7%) respectively.

[NEWS] 2011 MTV EMA winners announced!
2011 MTV EMA Winners Have Been Announced!
After an absolutely astonishing amount of voting from fans (over 158 million votes!), the 2011 MTV EMA winners have been announced, and the chosen ones have walked home (or perhaps been chauffeured to the after-party) with the coveted awards. Lady Gaga dominated the show, leaving Belfast with four wins (Best Female, Best Song, Best Video, and Biggest Fan).
She wasn’t the only multiple award winner, though. EMA regulars 30 Seconds to Mars received the first award of the night from the red carpet pre-show for Best Alternative and were honoured again with Best World Stage. Bieber fever infected voters and led to him heading away with Best Male and Best Pop, while Bruno Mars topped off a stellar 2011 with victories in Best Push and Best New.
Eminem’s mantle will be loaded up with some more EMA hardware with his repeat win of Best Hip Hop, and Katy Perry proved to be an EMA favourite again as well by being rewarded with Best Live.
Best Rock went to Linkin Park, and Korean band BigBang proved that they rock around the world by winning the inaugural award in the category of Worldwide Act.
Rounding out the night of awards was the incomparable Queen, who were awarded the Global Icon award prior to an electrifying performance that included Adam Lambert on vocals.

Excerpt from an article on producer Teddy Riley talking about Kpop when he went to Jeju last Sunday [for the Inkigayo concert special]:
On Big Bang, he praised them by saying they’re “a threatening group which can conquer the pop music market even beyond Asia.” He also added how G-Dragon can speak English fluently and is able to communicate well with others.
