Already known for producing hit tracks and being a fashion icon, Big Bang’s G-Dragon will now take a stab at producing by acting as the producer for YG’s upcoming girl group.

The multi-talented G-Dragon will be taking his first steps as producer for YG Entertainment’s upcoming five-member girl group according to various reports.

The new girl group will not only be making a debut with a G-Dragon-produced track, but will be given a an infusion of G-Dragon’s style and flavor with G-Dragon serving as the group’s main producer.

Perhaps as a step to gain exposure for the group, G-Dragon’s upcoming comeback music video will feature one of the group’s members, Jennie Kim and the group is targeting October for its album’s release and debut.

With YG Entertainment’s top guns such as Teddy and G-Dragon on board, it’s looking more and more like the new YG girl group will be the rookie group to beat this year.
